Brooklin is an ideal base for kayaking, boating, whale-watching, biking, sea duck hunting, painting, and writing or, what we like to do best: contemplate the quieter side of life on roads less traveled.

New Summer Midweek Special...Sunday through Thursdays, two people, two days, two full breakfasts, one dinner for two...$250 plus tax (must book through our website)

A one night dinner reservation is required for a Friday or Saturday night stay.

The Dining Room and Pub are open for dinner 7 days a week from June through October from 530 pm. Reservations are a good idea for the dining room, no reservations are taken for the Pub.

Winter Schedule: Open 6 days, Dinner in the Pub on Tuesdays, November to May from 5:30 pm Special Menus on Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Dinners. Reservations always a good idea, but necessary for Holiday dinners.

June through October: Open 7 days a week. Open 6 days in winter, closed Mondays, from 5:30 pm 'til 10 pm. Wednesdays...Free Dinner 530-630, Fridays....All the Fresh Baked Haddock we can serve you: $11. Available in the Dining room , too: $16. Full Dining Room Menu available every day we are open...upstairs and down. New Year's Eve and St Paddy's Day parties.

Chef Tyson Budd...Cordon Bleu Grad from Dallas Texas with stops at Yellowstone Hotel and recently Montana Roadhouse in Bozman brings his exuberant style to our eclectically classic menu. All our ingredients are local if not organic and organic if not local. Our food not only looks good, and tastes good....and is good for you, too! We make all our own bread, pastas, desserts, sauces and stocks. We use only Gulf of Maine seafood except for Alaskan Salmon in season. We will not serve Tuna (unless we know who caught it) or Swordfish as stocks are not sustainable. We know who grows, raises and often who caught the all food we serve.

All performances are Saturday evenings, 630 pm, $40 pp includes Dinner and Show.

These are 30 minute Radio Plays, adapted by The Screen Actors Guild and Directed by Robin Jones.
We set up the dining room with a low stage at one end, equipped with dummy microphones, a sound box apparatus, and several light boxes and signs to give diners the feeling they are in a radio studio. We start the evening with a four course dinner and start the show with dessert.

There are anywhere from 4 to 7 actors who sometimes play double parts, an announcer who opens and does period commercials, and a sound man. Where we are recreating shows by well known actors, our actors mimic the originals...Jimmy Stewart, Humphrey Bogart, Orson Welles are favorites.

The first two performances can be combined with our Winter Specal where the room, dinner for two and breakfasts are $155. per couple.

Gail and Chip Angell, resident innkeepers and owners.

Your resident innkeepers and owners, Gail and Chip Angell have created in their words, "a place we would want to visit." Chip, with a lifetime at sea and an Oceans Master license, brings a nautical flare. Gail, a retired professional, keeps it all together. The Angell's, married 47 years, have four grown children.

This is our eleventh year owning The Brooklin Inn. Its been an exciting trip!!
